About

Meet Hannah

Piano teacher and arranger

Originally from Boston, Massachusetts, Hannah began studying piano at an early age. In high school, she studied at the Rivers School Conservatory under Gabriella Sanna, where she participated in the Young Artists Program and received both the Piano Department Chair Award and the Skidmore Filene Music Scholarship. She went on to pursue a minor in piano performance at Skidmore College, studying under Pola Beytelman and Shichau Zhang, and received an Excellence in Piano Award at her graduation in 2018.

Hannah has always had a deep appreciation for soundtracks and film music. After being introduced to composition courses at Skidmore, she decided to pursue a degree in film music composition at the University of North Carolina under the mentorship of Chris Heckman. During her time there, she composed music for a number of short films. She graduated with her MFA in 2022 and began working remotely as an assistant orchestrator for Tutti Music Productions, with credits including The Witcher, Outlander, and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.

Since returning to Boston in 2022, Hannah has been teaching beginner and intermediate piano students. She especially enjoys creating custom learning materials tailored specifically to each student. Outside of music, she enjoys reading and exploring new coffee shops in and around Boston.
